About Codebluu

Marty Eugene Hart II, professionally known as Codebluu, is an American hip-hop recording artist, music producer, mixing and mastering engineer, and founder of Hartboyz Musik Group (HBMG), an independent music company established in May 2014.

Beginning his musical journey in 2008, Codebluu developed his craft as a recording artist before expanding into songwriting, production, and professional audio engineering. His work brings together classic hip-hop and R&B influences with modern recording technology.

Based in Hampton, Georgia, Codebluu has built a career spanning independent music releases, artist collaborations, audio production, immersive mixing, and artist development.

His recording catalog has accumulated more than 9 million streams across digital platforms, with over 90 professional credits spanning multiple roles in the music industry.

Recording Career & Collaborations

Codebluu's recording career reflects his evolution from independent rapper to recording artist, songwriter, and producer.

His musical collaborations include work with Carlos Stephens and Peter “Billionaire” Trotter of Beats by the Pound, as well as rapper Fiend, formerly of No Limit Records.

On May 9, 2024, Codebluu and longtime collaborator DareRowe reached No. 22 on the iTunes Hip-Hop/Rap Songs chart with their single “Good 4 U,” featuring Pendrick. The achievement was commemorated with a custom chart plaque manufactured by Jewel Box Platinum, an officially licensed RIAA award manufacturer.

His music video for “Feeling Like Money” surpassed 1.6 million YouTube views by October 2026.

Codebluu's releases include Classics, Vol. 1, Classics, Vol. 2, “Good 4 U,” “Down the Avenue” featuring Keyiara, and “Luxurious.” His ongoing recording projects include a planned third installment of the Classics series.

The Legacy of DareRowe

One of the most meaningful relationships in Codebluu's musical journey was his longtime friendship and creative partnership with Darrius “DareRowe” Rowe Jr.

Their recording history began in 2006, when they created their first song together. Over nearly two decades, the two continued developing music, sharing creative ideas, and contributing to each other's artistic growth.

Following DareRowe's passing in September 2025, Codebluu began revisiting their collaborative catalog as a tribute to his longtime friend and musical brother.

The planned Moving 2.0: Unpacked project revisits their original work through remixes and additional material, including the final recording they attempted to complete together.

The project represents both a musical tribute and the preservation of a creative partnership that helped shape Codebluu's career.

Audio Engineering & Dolby Atmos

In addition to his recording career, Codebluu works professionally in audio recording, production, stereo mixing, mastering, and immersive audio.

In July 2023, he earned the Certified Dolby Atmos Mixer credential through EngineEars School of Music's certification program, developed in collaboration with Dolby Laboratories and the Dolby Institute. His training included instruction associated with audio engineer Brian Malouf.

His engineering approach combines precision, musical dynamics, and attention to the emotional character of each recording.

Working from his studio in Hampton, Georgia, Codebluu uses professional analog and digital recording technology to provide stereo and immersive audio services for independent artists and commercial music projects.

His technical background supports both his own music and the recordings of artists who work with Hartboyz Musik Group.
